We will be hosting our traditional fencing camps in the spring and summer, as well as a new series involving internationally renowned fencers who will join us to teach camps during the summer. Fencers should bring an extra pair of shoes that are not worn outside during the winter months. The position will be working under the supervision of head coaches Mikhail and Arkadiy Sarkisov. The coach will be teaching intermediate level classes in foil and epee as well as giving private lessons. The coach must also be available for weekend travel to local and national tournaments. We will cover the basics of fencing footwork and bladework in a fun and exciting environment that kids will love! All you need is flexible clothing and tennis shoes. Congratulations to Alexa PrasherSubmitted by Zach Jansen on Thu, 05/07/2009 - 14:27Alexa Prasher took a phenomenal 5th place in the Y10 event at the North American Cup in Portland, Oregon. This was Alexa's first Nationals and makes Alexa the fourth GRAFA student who currently has National points on the National Points List. This is a very impressive achievement and GRAFA is very proud of Alexa! |
